SUNDAY SCHOOL
Lambuth Memorial offers Sunday School classes for all ages. We currently have two classes for children, a youth class and seven adult classes with a variety of curriculum and learning styles to meet everyone's needs.
WEDNESDAY FAMILY NIGHTS
Wednesday Family Nights begin with a family meal in Townsend Hall at 5:30PM. We offer programming for all ages from 6:00-7:00PM during the school year.
- ADULT BIBLE STUDY - Currently studying Pray Like Jesus: Rediscovering the Lord's Prayer by Don Underwood.
Seventy words were all Jesus needed to cover the breadth of the Christian message and experience. You already know The Lord's Prayer by heart and can easily recite it...and that may be the problem. We know those 70 words so well most of us rattle them off never thinking about their meaning. In Pray Like Jesus, Underwood reexamines the content of the Lord's Prayer, helping us to discover insightful spiritual guidance for developing a rich devotional life.
- CHILDREN - Three classes offered: Preschool, K-2nd, and 3rd-5th.
Each Wednesday evening our children's program begins with gym play, reading and gardening as children eagerly gather at the gym. After gathering time, children come to Townsend Hall and join the adults in the family night meal. Following the meal, children move to the sanctuary to participate in a time of praise music then break off into small groups for programming. All three classes continue exploring Faithweaver Friends curriculum where they are challenged to grow in their faith through friendships, apply Biblical learning through outreach and service opportunities, and make their faith their own.
